A fairytale is good to read before you go to bed
It make you feel all tingly from your feet up to your head
It tells you about places, places never to be seen
And as you go to sleep, a fairytale is the dream

It’ll pick you up and make you smile whenever there’s a frown
They’ll whisk you off to magic lands where sparrows are your friends
If you read one then your sadness will soon end

Do you dream of being princess in a land that’s made of gold
You know you’ll never go there, well not at least until your old
